I've met a very generous, skilled lady who is teaching me how to spin yarn, and how to knit socks! How neat is that?:woot:

Here's a photo or 2 of my first spinning attempts, today.
HER spun yarn is super fine, like sewing thread. Mine is super chunky, right now, but, she said with practice, it will thin out and all that.

Very exciting!

Awesome! Looks great! You'll find that your yarn will get thinner with every spinning session. Keep up the great work!

thank you! It's not as hard as you might think. After I understood the mechanics of spinning, it got to be more fun.

My dream is to hide some sheep in my backyard and knit nothingbut yarn from them.
