I wanted to make the "Tree Of Life Sweater" from the Lion Brand pattern site, http://www.lionbrand.com/patterns/kwe-treeOfLifeSweater.html?noImages=0 but..., I am still not confident enough in my sweater knitting capabilities for something quite so complicated. I am however pretty good at the top down raglan style. Now my question is, does anyone know if it's possible to take the cabled tree pattern and basically turn it upside down and incorporate it into my Sure Fit Cardigan as I'm working from the top down? If it's possible can you tell me how to go about it? TIA Jerri

You would have to follow the pattern chart from top to bottom rather than bottom to top.

Well you can try it out. If it doesn't work, you can see what doesnn't and think of something else....
