Does anyone know of any yarn shops in the St. Louis, MO area that carry a large selection of "vegan" yarns? I know Michael's carries cotton yarns, but, at least here, that's about it in the way of softer yarns that aren't furry...lol...There is a store in St. Charles, however, their prices are a bit much and I'm on a very tight budget, and, I'm not 100% sure if they have a decent selection of non animal yarns. The last time I was there, I didn't see many, but, I had my kids with me too and couldn't really look around as much as I had hoped. I'd love to try bamboo, linen, soy, and banana silk.

Or, are there any sites that carry a large selection of vegan yarns at a decent price?

Thanks for any info!

Southwest Trading Company makes many of these types of yarns. Not all are 100% plant fibers, but they do have many. http://www.soysilk.com/yarn.html.

This Store: Hearthstone Knits 314 849 9276 St. Louis carries SWTC yarns.
