Here are some of my FO's from the Christmas gifts I knitted
the first is for my best friend's daughter. I knitted her the Eve shawl from Knitty.com. I adjusted the pattern to fit a child. I used to strands of fun fur held together. I also used a frog clasp to hold it closed besides the ribbon since she is only 4, she is still learning how to tie a knot. The second is a fun fur scarf for her to wear when she can't wear the shawl. (she's a very glamour type girl). I used 2 strands of fun fur, cast on 15 stitches and then garter stitch until i had the desired length. The last is the traveling rose scarf from to knit is divine for my timekeeper at work. I used fingerwieght alpaca. I knit it a bit longer than the pattern called for, because she likes super long scarfs. this is only my second attempt at lace. I like the way it came out besides the few mistakes I made.
