Hi everyone,
I'm a new member far from my yarn store and knitting buddies, and was hoping for some help deciphering a sweater pattern. I'm making a green lopi fair isle cardigan, and am stuck on the neck shaping instructions for the tops of the front panels. The instructions read:
"Cont armhole shaping and work to last 5 sts. Leave last 5 sts on st holder. Dec 1 st on neck edge on next 4 rows, then every RS row 3 times AND AT SAME TIME, cont raglan decs until 2 sts remain. P2, K2tog, fasten off.
I'm sure that the neck shaping and armhole/raglan shaping are done at the same time, but I'm unsure of how to read the pattern to accomplish this, and which stitches go on a holder. (These and some stitches from the neckline are picked up later to knit a collar)
I would really appreciate some help with this.....the pattern is reynold's #82271 in case someone has made it before.
Thanks,
Ashley
