Can i knit this (http://knittingdivine.blogspot.com/2007/07/lacy-beret-free-pattern.html) pattern on straight needles? It's easier for me to find them where i live (specially metal straight needles - i  them!)

I'm not sure, but it seems like it might be hard to place the seam in that style.

The pattern says it's knit flat on circs, not in the round. The only problem with knitting on straight needles is that the piece will begin to curve around as it grows and the sts may stretch out because the needle isn't flexible. Try out the beginning of it on some scrap yarn and see if it works.

 I should have looked closer at the pattern. Sorry about that!
