Came home from a weekend away to find this box waiting for me. :woohoo:for Jo-Ann's sales (and a coupon code for free shipping). What it may lack in quality, it makes up for in quantity!
Lots of Caron Simply Soft for the charity baby blankets (red and blue for Patriotic Party, orchid and violet for Gorgeous Grapes), and Bernat Handicrafter Cotton in solids and ombres for dishcloths. Trying to do away with paper towels in our house, plus my female relatives all loved their holiday gift dishcloths/washcloths and I'm expecting lots of requests as the men felt a little left out :teehee: .

Yummy! I love your color choices. A question for you...I've recently developed a huge addiction to knitting dishcloths, but I've only worked with Peaches and Creme. How is the Bernat?

I've knit with both Sugar 'n Cream and Handicrafter and I find the Handicrafter better to work with. Just MHO but there it is.....

I've not worked with Peaches & Cream, so I can't tell you which is better. After doing a bunch of searches, it seemed that people really liked the handicrafter, so that's what I've been buying. I'll have to actually go to a store one of these days and do a direct comparison, since I've always bought it online.

But I do love the handicrafter color choices. You can see several dishcloth samples on my ravelry page, if you are interested.

And delivered for free. You can almost always find a promotion code for free delivery if you google "coupon" and "joann", on top of whatever sale they're already having.
