Y'all I know I knotting is the last way one should join new yarn but I'm knitting lacy fishnet stockings......would this be an instance where maybe I should knot to prevent any unraveling OR would knotting in a lacy pattern be the worst thing to do (because the know would be more noticeable maybe)?

I wouldn't knot it... I'd probably do a Russian or Felted Join.

I don't like knotting as a join, I find that I can always see it and it would always bother me. I love the felted join.

cotton won't felt huh? I'm using cascade fixation. I guess I'll go watch the joining videos again. poop, I was really hoping I'd get the go ahead on knotting (it's so much easier!) :)

Thanks~!
