Hello, I'm new to this site, but I already know I am going to enjoy it immensely. I'm looking for a pattern for windowpane mittens in a child size. I can make them in adult size, but am unable to convert the pattern to a child size on my own. Can anyone help? They are just the warmest mittens and my grandchildren love them.

If you scroll down to the "W" portion of this website (http://www.knittychick.com/free_mitten_glove_hat_and_scarf_patterns.htm) there are two patterns entitled "Window Panes" or "Windowpane." There is also a nice pattern on Knitty titled "Matrix"; however, it looks like windowpanes to me. http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEwinter07/PATTmatrix.html
