View Full Version : FO - Louisa Harding Aurora Beret

This is my first thing NOT a scarf... and for such a simple pattern I had a lot of trouble with it. But that's what I get for attempting increases and decreases at 3 am while my husband is watching Beerfest on tv.

Anyway, I'm not happy with my color selection. I guess that's a lesson learned: Don't try to color match when ordering yarn from eBay. I used the following colors:
Grace -#06
La Salute Quattro - #04

No, I haven't done the matching rosette yet. I need some longer needles before I do.

And I hate the way berets look on me. I should have thought of that first.

Very nice!

BTW..you can post Flikr pictures here. Just choose the size of 800 pixels on the longest side. You'll get more response if you do. ;)

The hat fits you which is an impressive accomplishment in a first hat. My first hat didn't manage to do that.
