Knitting without tears or knitting in the round?? I want one of them maybe both or should I look at another one? Which do you have and like?

That's Knitting Around, not in the round.... But I think it's the same principle - knitting without seams. This has several basic directions for making items. None of her books have patterns exactly - Row 1, do this, Row 2, do that - but she explains how things are put together and how you can devise your own pattern. I haven't looked at Knitting Without Tears, so can't compare them, but KA is pretty good. You might see if your library has copies or can get them on loan; that way you can see which you might prefer.

I was just going to suggest the library, too.
