We have a 7.5 year old precocious grandson who we don't get to see real often. We have a deal with him that when he makes straight A's we take him out for the day. Well he has had 3 straight A report cards and between my surgery and he and his parents busy schedules, circumstances have prevented us from taking him out until today.

We decided to treat him to a day at Incredible Pizza Company which is a pretty cool place to go. We spent five hours of fun, came home pooped (the grandparents not the grandkid!) and told him that sometime during the summer maybe after he and his parents were back from their summer vacation we would take him there again. I had thought my dd had said something about going to Atlanta but....

He informed us that he and his parents were going to Costa Rica because his parents wanted to take him to a beach in a foreign country. :teehee: He then proceeds to tell us that mom has lost his birth certificate so he doesn't know how he is going to get his passport but he has already had his hepatitis B shot, but still has to get his shot for Typo and Rabies! :roflhard:

My dh and I looked at each other and had to bite our lips to keep from cracking up.

Well, at least you can rest assured that he will never get typo. That's a very good thing in this day and age!

Yes, and that if he bites someone they won't get rabies either! :teehee:

I missed that part! So they took him to the vet for his shots did they? Did his health insurance cover that visit? Kids, they are SO entertaining!

Better get a vaccination then Ingrid! If you ask nonny2t she might direct you to the correct medical person.

I got my rabies shot at PetCo, so I'll probably go to Staples for my typo shot. :teehee:

I just got an email from my dd and I guess they require some type of a rabies vaccine now for that country so he didn't get it wrong. So now Ingrid, you are pretty set except for that Typo to go to Costa Rica.

Better get right on that. We would not want you spreading typo around KH. If you only have your symptoms sometimes, we should be safe once you get your shot!! ;)

well last night i wanted to murder my 4 year old son.

he was up late as he wasnt well during the day and slept for a few hours.

i was watching a cookery tv show with my mum and him. i said to my mum that i would love to be able to cook properly rather than the bodging i do right now.

my darling 4 year old son turned around to me and simply said, but mummy you cant cook so how can you ever do it properly.

oh how i adore my son, made us laugh though hehe
