I'm planning to knit Cozy into a scarf instead of a wrap.

It's my first lace project and I'm having a hard time figuring out how many sts I should CO (30ish). It seems it should it be a multiple of 7 bc of the lace pattern, but I feel like I'm wrong. Help?

The multiple is 6 + 1, which means any multiple of 6 and then add 1 more. 12 + 1, 18 + 1, 24 + 1, 30 + 1.
