This is my hope scarf, posted by Rebecca, on her whimsical designs site.
I just love this design! Am using chunky Lion Brand yarn, too.

It's beautiful! I just love the red! I'm very honored that you chose to knit it!
Are you knitting the 1st version or the 2nd one I did for you today? Whether Hope or Hope II, it's very pretty, thank so very, very much for choosing one of my designs, I'm just tickled pink!
LOL, it feels odd not to be known by fellow knitters on here! Gone are the days of few people in the forum who knew everyone right away, which is good, but weird! Of course, I've only popped in now and then in the past year due to health reasons. The forum has grown so very, very much, it's amazing and outstanding! LOL, it's obvious I've been around a while when I got to actually choose my name as my screen name in the forum!
Thanks to ya'll for liking the design, I'm very, very honored, it's all quite surreal!

Nothing like RED is there?!

Red raises a roomís energy level. Itís a good choice when you want to stir up excitement, particularly at night. In the living room or dining room, red draws people together and stimulates conversation. In an entryway, it creates a strong first impression. Red has been shown to raise blood pressure, speed respiration and heart rate.

I got sidetracked yesterday, looking at old timey 2-needle sock patterns, and am working on a little sock, from this pattern:

Does anyone else in here have a hard time focusing on ONE knitting project at a time??
I feel like I have knitting ADD.

LOL, I think I'm among the minority I LOVE monogamous knitting! I'm a one project at a time knitter! I love to start, knit my project, then begin the next one in line. If not, a project will end up sitting around and never getting done because other things always come up! For example, when knitting my personal A Touch of Whimsy Scarf (http://whimsicalknittingdesigns.blogspot.com/2006/10/touch-of-whimsy-scarf-pattern.html) rather than the one pictured in the design (which went to my sister:hug: ) it took me a year because I decided to try knitting multiple projects as so many do...well, I only had about 3 projects OTN and finished the others and then other things came up and I had to put the scarf aside over and over! So, what would have taken a few days took a year!!! LOL, that is why I'm a monogamous knitter :roflhard:
AND, as if that weren't enough, the socks that are designed to go with the "A Touch of Whimsy" accessories aren't yet knit because they were among those in the "trial" process when I was trying to be other than my true monogamous knitting self :roflhard: The pattern is written, but the socks are not yet completed....I have 2 projects to do and then the socks!! And, thankfully, I will then FINALLY be back to my honest to goodness MONOGAMOUS knitting self!
LOL, sorry about the tangent, but I don't UNDERSTAND how ya'll can have so many projects going!! How do you get anything finished  For real, I'm mystified

Nancy, your scarf is G.O.R.G.E.O.U.S.!! When I knit mine I was going to actually use brown because I need brown scarf and accessories (yes, I hope to design the hat; fingerless gloves and socks to go with) but you may have made me reconsider and knit a red one, although now I'm going to have to order more yarn...YIPPEE :blooby:
