Hello!

I've done a couple of felting projects (the kitty bed, and a small rectangular bag with a buttoned flap and an I-cord shoulder strap). i've seen a small felted box (actually the bottom of a box with no lid) and wonder whether any of you can share a pattern, please.

Also, I'm winging it with making a case for a recorder (i.e. the musical instrument) which is two long tubular compartments next to each other, which I'm creating with stockinette with two stitches in the opposite stitch running up the middle (when I fold the whole thing in two I'll sew the two parts together along the outside seams and also along that center "gutter"). Have any of you done anything like this? Any words of wisdom?

Thanks a lot,

Kirinphoebe, returning after a lonnnngggg absence

Mason Dixon Knitting (http://www.knitpicks.com/mason%20dixon%20knitting_BD30728.html) has a pattern for them. You can probably get it from your library like I did to check it out and print a copy if you want.

I looked a little, but didn't see any other patterns. :??

Look thru these: http://www.knittingpatterncentral.com/directory/felted_items.php; there might be some box shapes. Or maybe here, too: http://www.knittingpatterncentral.com/directory/miscellaneous.php
