Here is my latest FO. I knit it for my cousin's new baby Brenna Rose. I used this (http://www.knitlist.com/00gift/round-baby-blanket.htm) pattern and Bernat cotton tots yarn in Very Berry and the ruffle in Strawberry. I think my favorite part is the seed stitch ruffle. I wish I had made the ruffle a little bigger but all in all I very happy with it.http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2134/2388282464_96bfcb009b_m.jpg

Thanks everyone for your kind words. I've gotten a few PM's about how I did the ruffle so I thought I would post it here

I copied this from someone's blog awhile ago and for the life of me haven't been able to figure out who's since.
"To make one, knit into the front and back of every stitch, doubling your stitch count and providing a base for seed stitch with the k1, p1 look of the kfb. On the next row, knit the purls and purl the knits. Continue until you’ve got enough ruffle to please you. I bound off all in knit stitches because I like the look of the chain of stitches around the edge."

*Be aware that this uses a lot of yarn. My one inch of ruffle took an entire skein of Cotton tots.

Beautifull blanket, how big is it. is it one of those patterns that you can just continue until you have whatever size you want?

got my answer, went and looked at the pattern. So simple and very effective. Love your colour choice.

I've started, and dismantled three baby blankets and am starting on one again! This is way out of my league but it's wonderful~
What a great gift!

Mom23kids if you can do the the knit stitch , yarn over, and count you can knit this! It really looks a lot more difficult that it is!

Lizardknits don't let the dpns scare you away!! But I didn't use dpn's I used magic loop. I didn't have the right size dpns for the blanket and was anxious to get started.
