I don't have a link because I got this at a yarn store and it was apparently copied from somewhere...but I don't know where. It does make a cute beanie for a baby though.

Gauge: 5sts=1"
Yarn: 150 yrds light worstered weight
Needles: 16" circular and double pointed 7
Sizes: 6 months (1 yr, 2yr, 3yr & up)

Cast on 72 (80, 88, 96) sts to circular needles join being careful not to twist sts. Place marker and work in stockinette stitch (k every end) until piece measures 4 3/4" (5", 5 1/2", 6")

Begin decreasing, changing to dp needles when necessary.

Row 1: *K6, K2tog, repeat from * around
Row 2: *K5, K2tog, repeat from * around
Row 3: *K4, K2tog, repeat from * around
Repeat this decrease progressing until 9 (10, 11, 12) sts remain. Cut a long tail and thread this tail through the remaining sts and pull up tightly. Weave end in.

That's it:)
