Hello.

I prefer to work with a circular (using magic loop technique) rather than 3 needles, and I wondered if it is important to take notice of the distribution of the stitches, i.e.

Rearrange your stitches so that they’re on the needles as follows: Needle 1: Start of round, 13 stitches. Needle 2: 7 stitches. Needle 3: 6 stitches.

If so, how should one take account of this?

Another question is, (I'm really confused) if you do ribbing in the round, with a number dividable by 4, if you k2 p2 the first time around, do you go on with k2 p2 or do you have to switch (p2 k2)?

Thank you!

I don't think it's real important until after you pick up around the heel flap.

You can use markers to mark off where the sts on the 3 needles would be.

For ribbing, you just have to remember to knit the knit sts, and purl the purl sts. So, you would start again with your k2, p2.
