Wow, how easy is it? I've never knitted a sweater before and that is just beautiful. What size is it?:yay:

"EZ" stands for Elizabeth Zimmerman. But her circular seamless sweater designs are fairly easy if you can manage a few calculations.

Oh, thanks for clarifying. I'd better find something really easy first. I'm learning a lot on knitting this sock.

Great job and I second that very nice colour work.

Is there whole books with patterns of seamless sweaters. The one thing I don't like about knitting sweaters is the seaming after. Have done a couple of things for my baby (now two) that she never got to wear because I never got motivated enough to sew it up.

Would love to do something for her that requires no or minimal sewing.

I am addicted to seamless sweater. My favorate seamless pattern book for children sweater is this

If you want to be free from patterns, knit sweater with your own gauge calculations and knowledge about sweater construction. I recommend you start from "sweater workshop"

The size is 2T. I did my own gauge calculation and come up with the size. Basically you have to do that if you use EZ pattern. I prefer this over following a pattern line by line.

What an adorable toddler!!!!!!!!!! Love her "Cindi-Lou-Who" hair! Did she eat the sand? Mine have all done that, then they regret it right afterwards... :teehee: Sweater looks great too! The color work is wonderful. Did you make that pattern up yourself?

The pattern is in EZ's knitting workshop book. You need to do some calculation to decide the size you want to knit.

Yes, she did eat the sand.

Super cute!!! Love the uniqueness of the st detail and colors in the yoke. And good to see it's just a tad big so she'll be able to wear it for a bit and you can enjoy seeing your efforts longer.
