When using my drop spindle, my yarn tends to untwist. Is this because I have to much roving on the spindle? Even if I wrap it around the spindle part, if I undo it, it untwists on me and becomes roving again. Which is frustrating because other parts keep the twist:hair:

sound like your under spinning the roving. If you cna get your hands on a copy of Spinning in the old way do so. it explains over/under spinning. hope this helps
