Oooo these are nice! I'm going to try my first pair of socks real soon, and I love ankle socks! Is there a pattern for these you could link to?

Those are beautiful. I just received my fixation yarn for socks and I was surprised at how stretchy it is. I knit a swatch and it was way bigger than gauge. I hope the ones I make turn out as well as yours.

i read the label and was confused on the gauge...I recall there were several choices...I was confused.:wall:

Debkcs, I just wanted to point out that it is not my pattern. Just found it online searching for Cascade socks, I forgot to mention that I did have to use a little from the second ball. I wasn't too happy to find 2 knots in the first ball.

Nice sock's! Just wondering, How do you like the cascade fixation yarn? Do you like the way the socks feel on your feet? I have heard pro's and con's on this yarn.
I made a pair for my DD and she just loves them. She said they get softer each time she washes them. I have more OTN's now. I have a pair started for myself. I just have other things to finish up before I get back to those.

Indygirl, I am not too sure about the yarn. I haven't worn them yet but they feel okay. I think the cuff part may be too stretchy though.
I did have 2 knots in the first ball also.
Very nice! I love the color.
Thanks for sharing...

I did have 2 knots in the first ball also. If you want to see the cascade fixation socks I knit for my DD. you can go to the 'Any Sock Kal 2' it is # 1519 post. I didn't find any knots in that yarn. I have a lot of the fixation yarns. Hopefully I don't have the same problem you did.
