The yarn I ordered from KP arrived two days after I last left out for the road. It's been almost three months but I finally made it back home to open the box.
It's fun to have a bunch of new yarn waiting for me when I get home. I love the color and can't wait to make a sweater out of it.

Love the color! It's going to be so much fun to start your new project.
How is your mom been doing? I was thinking of you over the weekend.

I like the way the feels but haven't started knitting with it yet. After driving almost 1,000 miles today to make it home I'm just too pooped.

What a beautiful rich color!
caring for someone recovering from a health issue involves a LOT of sitting quietly. great time to start or even finish a sweater (oh darn, U R only home 10 day, maybe enough, maybe not)
have fun, breath, let us know if you need support or advice, or help

 In between doing laundry and going across the street to check on Mom I am working up a gauge swatch. Since I haven't found an in the round sweater pattern that I like I'm just going to wing it and do a simple raglan type sweater, maybe with a couple of cables in it for style. As it's my first sweater I figure I'd best keep it simple.

Three months?! You have a lot more patience that I do! I would have had them send it to the truck! ;-) (I know they can't do that, but it's a nice thought.)

Well, I'm not normally out on the road that long but with our current economy freight is a bit slow and I just couldn't afford to come home any sooner.
