I designed and knit this skirt in just three days. I posted pics on my blog, along with the pattern.

That's very cute, and looks great on you. The ribbon and bow set it off just perfectly.

BTW, I looked at the homeschooling site, lot's of good things there.

Love it!!! Awesome!!! May I suggest a pdf file to download? It's easier to save for when I feel more confident to make something like that!

That is just adorable, love the ribbon. I just might make this!

I have to ask...how in the world did you knit this in 3 days when you have 3 children? My kids are grown and gone and some days I don't have time to tie my shoelaces??????

Wow! And here I was all anxious about my body shape! There's actually no shaping in the skirt, except below the ribbon. It's a straight skirt; the shaping you see is just my very curvy hips. :teehee: So y'all just made my day! Maybe my week!

The weather was beautiful; I sent my kids outdoors to enjoy it, and knitted while they were playing. But I did most of it during naptimes, and after bedtime. And I always knit while I watch TV; then I don't feel so guilty about sitting on my behind. It's mostly stockinette, in the round, so it didn't take much concentration.

I haven't yet figured out how to make it a pdf file. I'll let you know when I do.

Is looks great. the ribbon is an adorable accent, the skirt looks great on your shape, not too hippy at all, just feminine and sleak all at the same time. Very nice. At first I thought it looked felted. I am trying to think of a thin person I could make it for. LOL
