Hello:
I just found this website and I am hoping there is someone who can help me with this pattern. I am working on the Shaped Edge Jacket from the Simply Soft book. I've finished the back and the left side and am trying to figure out the right side instructions. I'm up to the button holes and the directions don't seem to make sense to me. The directions read:
1st buttonhole row: K2 skpo (yarn) twice, k2tog, k to end
2nd buttonhole row: P to end, working (p1, p1tbl) into double yarn of previous row.
With 4 1/2mm (US 7) needles, cast on 21(23:25:27)sts
K 1 row.

If some one can explain this to me I would be so thankful!!!!

On the first row of the buttonhole, you're going to :

Knit 2, (slip 1, knit 1, pass slipped stitch over) Yarn Over twice, k2tog, then knit to the end.

On the next row, you'll purl across, and when you get to the double YO, you're supposed to purl into the first of the two and then purl into the back of the second of the two.
