I've just finished a sweater that is a "tad" too big. Is there a way to shrink it all over safely? I've already washed it in cold water and it's laying out to dry, but it doesn't look much smaller. By the way, it's all cotton.........Thanks

Wash in lukewarm water and dry halfway. Then lay flat to dry and check the size. Washing in cold and air drying is what you do if you don't want it to shrink.
