I'm getting ready to knit a little tank top for my DD out of a cotton/acrylic blend yarn called Tatamy Tweed DK (in the Fireplace color) and am wondering~I've done my swatch~ do you think with that much acrylic it'll shrink? I really want to cast-on and not wash my swatch (itchy knitting fingers, like I don't have any more projects on the needles-HA! :-P ).

So what would you do? I don't think it would shrink, but on the other hand..so I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience with this yarn or blend.

It probably won't, but you can machine wash it and air dry flat instead of in the dryer.

Does the yarn label say it's machine washable?
And dryable?

Yes~ machine washable and dryer safe.
