Hi there! I'm in a swap on ravelry and my partner wants to try magic loop for toe up socks. I don't magic loop myself, lol-prefer dpns. So my question is, what size addi's do I purchase and can anyone recommend a book?
TIA!

I am about to try magic loop for the first time and have been told to use a circular needle with a long flexible cable. I have heard that a 32" cable is good as it gives pleanty of manouverability. Obviously the sizze of the needle tip will deend on the sock yarn guage requirements.
I am going to be using an online pattern and will probably be doing top-down so i'm afraid i can't help with a book.

Here's how I learned - it's a great little booklet:

32 inch circulars are good to use - you want a lot of cable with ML. It's a great technique!
