I am so excited about this lapghan. It was a easy and fun knit. I did not think that in the beginning, I thought it was hard, but looks can be deceiving. You can find my trials and tribulation on my blog (http://www.knitsy.blogspot.com). Here is my finished lapghan. I so feel like a knitter now. :woot:
Wow! That's gorgeous. It certainly doesn't look easy. Great job.

If I can do it anyone can. The only skilss you need is dpn (or magic loop), knit, yo, k2tog, slip stitch. You got it. Really, I was intimidated for 2 months. I knew I would make it but figured, not now, until I saw the knitalong on here. This was some people first lace project.

It's beautiful- congratulations, that must have been a lot of work. What yarn did you use?

Thank you!! Cascade Eco Wool 2 skeins, but you really use 1 and some of the second, depending on which row you stop at.

I so admire you! What a wonderful piece! Yeah, I know whatcha mean, about patterns being deceiving. Some "easy" patterns turn out to be the biggest PITA's...and then you say that this magnificent lapghan was easy!
Well-worded pattern instructions help so much!

Just beautiful!! Isn't blocking amazing. It looks all bunched up and then... viola.
It sounds like that project, completed so nicely, has given you a lot of confidence. And it should have. You can do it. My knitting friend and guru used to say to me, "If I could bottle confidence and sell it I'd be a millionaire." So true.
Congratuations on a beautiful FO.
