View Full Version : FO-Lotus Blossom Tank

This is the Lotus Blossom Tank from Interweave Summer 2006 issue. I used size 6, 5 and 4 needles. I made slight modifications to the patterns by sizing down the needles to make a slimmer fit. I also double stranded the bodice area to add a little more structure. I really like the end fit result. the Yarn is Mei Mei Bamboo. it is a really nice yarn to knit with. Really silky feeling. I will have to wear a camisole underneath though to wear to work but other than that I really love this project.

Very pretty! I have that issue and have been thinking about knitting that tank for a long time. The lace looks a little daunting. Did you have any problems with the pattern? Yours turned out great!

Yours looks really great. When I made it, I used bamboo too, but the neckline came out too loose. I don't know why that happened.

Since I don't have much in the bust dept and bamboo is really drapy, is the reason why i doubled up the yarn. I had hoped it would give it more structure, and sizing down the needle would structure it more. and it did so it worked out. If it didn't work out i was going to have to do some math do size down the front which i was not looking forward too since i was already doing the smallest size.
