I made these socks for the DBF's sister Ashley's birthday- which is tomorrow. I finished them just in time!

The pattern is Sweet Socks (http://knitnlit.blogspot.com/2007/08/sweet-socks.html) and the yarn is On Your Toes Bamboo in coral and it is wool free as she is allergic. I loved the pattern, although I had to fudge it a bit in places, my fault I'm sure. The yarn was lovely too, in fact I'm jealous I don't get to keep them. I haven't washed them yet, so we'll see how they stand up.

As you can see my cat Lucy loved them- which is ironic since Ashley is also allergic to cats!

And yes, those are MY white pasty legs.

As a fellow cat lover, I can tell you with absolute certainty that Lucy is simply making sure that those socks have just the right amount of cat fur on them - it's a cat thing. :roll: She's a pretty gal!
