I am considering (in the future - not THIS year) taking one of those knitting trips/retreats to Italy. Has anyone done anything like this? I figure that if I save my pennies and learn Italian, I might be able to go in about 2 years.

I'm actually going on a 3 day knitting retreat next week up at a cottage. My aunt planned it with one of her friends and her friend's daughter and me. We're going to experiment with dyeing and go to a lys that's new to us. I can't wait. 3 days of knitting and talking about knitting= heaven!
