I love your hedgehog! Where did you find your pattern? I've seen other ones, but like the shape of this one the best. I'm thinking it would be fun to make these and get copies of Jan Brett's book -- The Hat -- to give for Christmas (then I'd have to try knitting socks to go with them).

Well I bought *my* pattern from my former LYS near KU. (I miss the yarn barn. I miss Lawrence. sniff.) But the link to the pattern is here: http://fibertrends.com/viewer/V7_toys.html
There is a little scroll bar on the left side..... Scroll down it and it says "Huggable Hedgehogs"
Yeah, they are GREAT Christmas gifts. It was my idea to make all my sibs some..... Then it was my mom's idea to make 1 for a friends daughter, and two for another friends 2 daughers. Then she had the idea of me making another one for an adoption fundraiser (it went the highest at the silent auction..... 2 sheets of paper!!!!) Which I suppose was okay since she bought all the yarn. But still, 2 of my bros didn't get theirs till Jan. lol
