Please can someone help me. I have been knitting for years now but whenever I am following a pattern and a certain part comes up I get stuck. I have a pattern in which a part of it says to decrease on each end of the row I'm on then to repea every 6th row. My question is do i start to count after the row I decrease in or do I count the decrease row to the 6th row. Thank You.

You decrease on one row then work 5 more rows and decrease on the one after that - the 6th from the last decrease row.
