This is Maxx, the puppy that found us on Tuesday. He's between 8-11 months old and is 57 lbs. He's a great dog. He loves the pool and loves to fetch!

He's a beautiful dog. My first dog found me also , in front of my house on a busy Friday afternoon. I wasn't looking but it works out that way sometimes.

He's gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!! I've always been partial to the "red" Goldens myself. Our girl is a blondie, but the guy that found us 2 years ago (and then passed away) was a deep red. He was beautiful. The girl we had before our present "baby" was also a red Golden. She was a sweetheart, too.

We haven't decided. Another strange thing that happened is that I put an ad in the paper, ordered in Tuesday night and was supposed to be in the paper on Thursday and it wasn't. I called the paper and he said he has no idea why it wasn't in the paper yesterday. He said it will be in today though and we're running it for 7 days. If no owner comes forward, then we'll decide. We'll probably keep him!

Too many weird things not to keep him. I'd let the ad run and then just go with it. Sometimes things can't be explained.
:teehee: He sure looks like he's assimilated himself well.

Maxx is gorgeous! Hope your daughter is doing better with him. I'd bet he loves her most of all.

He looks like an absolute love. Our best dogs have been strays. No one has dropped a dog off here in a long time so our last 2 have been pound puppies and are just as wonderful. I hope you keep him.

Maxx is a beautiful dog and looks 'right at home' in that little pool. I do hope, if this is what all of you want, this will be his home with a loving family.

What a sweet looking dog. Reminds me of the full grown dog that "found" me many years ago in a library. I was sitting in a chair looking thru coupons when this huge dog wandered in and sat right beside me and stayed there until I was finished about a half hour later. Was tempted to take him home, but we already had 3 dogs and I figured that he must have belonged to someone in the neighborhood. Give Max a hug for me.

I just live a hour away from you by the range only moved away from Duluth 7 years ago.:cheering:
People are just leaving their dogs because they can't afford them or had to move out of there house into a apartment.Did you check with Animal Allies?I have a dog now that someone left to fend for himself, the golden Lab.I already had 2 dogs but just couldn't leave him to fend for himself.
So maybe it was just meant to be that he found you for whatever reason.Good luck what ever happens!!!!!!!!

Oh wow, you live on the range? Your pups are adorable! My husband told me yesterday that we can keep Maxx if we can't find his owner. My sister sent me an email yesterday and her friend's husband found a litter of 5 labs that were dumped, they're 6-8 weeks old and they're trying to find homes for them. How sad. Yes, I called animal allies, all the shelters, all the vets in the area and they have his description down.

Well not exactly the Range,25 miles south of the Range on 40 acres of land.I come to Duluth all the time to see my sons and grandkids.
We should get together sometime:teehee:What part of town do you live in?
So sad that people dump dogs, good luck to your brother friend and bless his heart!!

Oh, neat! We live in between Proctor and Cloquet, on 10 acres of land. We should definately get together. There's a cute scrapbooking/yarn store in Cloquet that has a little room for people who want to knit or whatever. That would be neat.

Yes, the dog in my avatar was our puppy, Buddy, who passed away 5 days before Maxx came into our lives.
