I have been busy this summer knitting for my first Grandchild, due 9/9.

The first sweater is the Kimono from Mason Dixon in Debbie Bliss Cotton.

Second is a set in acrylic from a pattern I don't know where I got:oops: .

Third and Fourth are the back zip sweater that others have done.

Yellow blanket is in acrylic (Lb of Love) from a very old bobble pattern.

Log cabin is in Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino and will eventually have a sweater in one of the colors to go with it.

The last is a cable blanket I did at the start of the summer, may have posted it then.

The Log Cabin blanket is my favorite, but they are all adorable. What a busy lady you have been!

I spent the afternoon making sugar cookies with my DIL and 2 y.o. DGD, what fun it was! She's an 'old' two and was actually helpful when we were baking.

Grandkids are the best!

Really nice!! Your blankets are especially nice, all those cables and bobbles. The sweaters will really be practical come winter. Every baby needs those to stay warm. Congratulations on your first grandchild. It looks like he/she will never be short on fabulous hand knits with you around.

Where di you get the cable blanket pattern?

I just "did it"; count the cable stitches and how many in between add the border. Actually the base is two stitiches less for each cable, I M1x2 for each cable in cable set up row (to avoid the pucker). There is one very similar on the internet, I think it is called "aunt Pearls" baby blanket. But it puckered where the cables started so I just modified it.
