I can pretty much guarantee you I won't be doing this again! :zombie: The knitting itself wasn't difficult really, but I spent all day yesterday doing the lining and a good chunk of today figuring out how to add the handles.

I added an iron on lining to the lining fabric to give some body to the bag which worked well, but I didn't take into account that I would need to be able to get a needle through it to sew the lining on and then the handles! I ended up using nylon thread on a fine needle to attach the handles and used the yarn to make it look nicer. The inside area of the handle doesn't look that great, but I am NOT doing them again.

So here you go. Oh and I added a pocket to the lining.

It looks so good!!

Is that version A? I *love* the lining. Totally worth it, IMO.

You piqued my interest when I read your 'Raspberry St' post. As a result I have this queued. I can only hope mine turns out as nice!

The pattern of the lining is a subtle complement and the bag, itself, looks fab. So bright and cheery. :) But I can relate to your 'never again' sentiment. Once is enough...

 Thanks everyone! I used some of those precut rectangles for the lining. I think they must be for quilting, but they were perfect.

Jan, it looks great! I love the colors. :inlove:

I made a couple of felted bags when I first started knitting. The lining gave me no end of troubles and I remember cursing the whole time (and ripping it out a couple of times). But the result was worth it. Yours looks great and goes with the yarn perfectly. :)
