View Full Version : FO: Comfort Shawl

This is the shawl I finished last night for my Mum for Christmas. I only used a cheap 25% mohair yarn but it's very soft and hopefully will keep her nice and warm in the evenings. If I get the time, I may also make her some thick, warm socks because she still has real trouble with her feet after the chemo she had for bowel cancer 2 years ago.

This is the first thing I've really done on circular needles so I'm quite pleased with myself and I finally got to use my lovely Boye interchangeable circs set! :happydance: Yayness!

I used one from Ravelry: Aunt Phoebe's Comfort Shawl (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/aunt-phebes-comfort-shawl)

Was really easy to do.

You're a great daughter!

Glad Mum is doing well after her bout with cancer.

Where is Sheerness, Rowena, I've been in Kent, but not familiar with Sheerness.
