I have to quickly knit my dd a neckwarmer to match her fall and winter suits, and all I can find at my local store, in the right color, is Bernat Bamboo. Is this a good "cold-weather" yarn to use?

I would think so but I've never used it. It's soft and should be warm though.

I've never used that particular yarn; however, I generally see bamboo yarns used for warm weather knitting. I did look on the Bernat web site and they have a free knit scarf pattern for that yarn, so it just might work.
