Does anyone know how to edit the title of a thread?

Okay updated to see my finished pics! I am so pleased with it! It's now officially called "bitty bolero".

I wanted to design something top-down with minimal seams because I don't like bulky sleeve seems on baby stuff, and I had not yet seen a bolero baby pattern that was raglan style.

I pinned it shut with a saftey pin, I am not sure how I want to handle the button, I was thinking MAYBE a little wooden toggle and a crochet loop.

That is adorable! It looks like you could also make it long sleeved with the way you've done it. Too cute!

Oh I know. :teehee: For some reason I was thinking they were going to be very short though..more vest like although I don't know why I thought that. They could actually go either way. Great job!

thank you so much for the tip, and for the sweet words :) She's my little doll. It's so funny because when she was little people would mention modeling to me and I used to think "omg I would never do that with my child" then suddenly I realized, OMG I AM DOING THAT WITH MY CHILD hahaha. I didn't even put 2 and 2 together!

:teehee: You're doing it in a different way and this is the only acceptable way IMO. ;) People used to say this to me about my first DD, too. Babies all get attention, but some seem to draw a different kind.

yeah sometimes I must say I wonder about having photos of her on the internet, I'm not sure at which point I will want to stop or if I will... something I do want to think about more. Where I will draw the line etc.

Patterns sell better probably if you show them on someone. I guess if you were really concerned you could do just a body shot.

Here is the weird thing, when I knit a pattern someone else wrote I knit it once and never think about knitting it again. For all the patterns I have written I have knit 2 or 3 versions of each one, and I LIKE TO and WANT TOO lol, this is from a person who has serious issues getting a UFO to be an FO. It has nothing to do with how my patterns are written because usually the second time I don't even read what I wrote down (unless it's to check a number).

Here is #2 of this one, in Malabrigo (Mmmmmm).

I also found out a co-worker I've known for years has a new BABY GIRL due in 1 month! So I am going to work up one of the 3-6 month sizes in this as well for his soon to be born little girl. So that will be #3! I have issues, lol. Sitting next to my bed is a wonderful pattern for a cropped cardigan for myself that I know will fit and would love to wear, but I can't bring myself to pick up the needles with all these cute baby knits in front of me!

I got the "model" for cheap on ebay!

Very cute pattern, Pixie. I like the collar. It looks like an easy knit. I understand about the adult sweater on hold. I much prefer baby things. Inspiration, knit, FO, on to the next project. So much faster than tedious adult things. Inspiration, knit, knit, knit....?? will I ever be done?LOL
