These are really easy, you essentially knit a large rectangle with slits for the armholes, and put sleeves on. Here's a smaller one at Lion - http://cache.lionbrand.com/patterns/60648A.html?noImages=0
You can make it longer by casting on more stitches.

Slip the first st, knit all the others in the row.

The collar looks like a rib, the body is a sort of broken rib. I found a more detailed picture on ravelry. It's knit along the long edge, first in 1x1 ribbing for about 4-5" then a rib with garter ribbing between the k1 sts. So it would be k1, p 3 or 4, k1, px and purl all on the WS.

So the 1x1 ribbing would be done in the following manner.

Row 1: Knit 1, *purl 1, knit 1,* repeat from * to * until the end of the row.

Row 2: Purl 1, * knit 1, purl 1,* repeat from * to * until the end of the row.

Then the rib with a garter would be done in the following manner:

RS: k1, p4, k1 p4, k1 p4, k1
WS: p, p, p, p, p, p

What about the cuffs on the sleeves?
