Hi Everyone!
I would like to knit baby items from fingering weight yarn, but I have not found any free patterns in the internet or in any pattern book. I just found a pair of booties in the internet, but nothing else. I would like to knit more booties and other items in this yarn weight since it is light and it is for a baby that lives in the caribbean. This baby is not a preemie and if I would follow a regular baby pattern and use the smaller size needle with this yarn the item would be too small. Where could I find some patterns??? You could also respond at my personal email; dmerrit@hotmail.com I need help soon, since this baby was born yesterday 10/23/08.:knitting:
Thank you very much!

The patterns at dailyknitter.com list the needle size used so that would be one way to find patterns for your yarn weight.
