I haven't knitted a thing all summer and this morning when I put the kids' scarves on them (day 2!), DS informed me that the next time I made him a scarf, he wanted it to be blue!
Never mind that his coat is red and black! (He's five years old.)
His old coat was yellow and so is his scarf.
Well, I used Cascade 220 Superwash for both his and his sister's scarves, but the LYS I bought it from went out of business. :pout:
My new LYS does not show up on the Cascade store locator. Other stores show up, and maybe I should check one of those out, but the one I like is conveniently located next door to my favorite Mexican restaurant. :)
Is there a yarn that is a good equivalent to Cascade 220 Superwash? :knitting:
I probably could research it myself, but I thought it might be easier to pick the brains of friendly and experienced knitters.
Is there a KnitPicks equivalent? I'd rather buy from the LYS, but I'm open to suggestions.
Thanks!
