Normally my stuff is off the needles and into the recipient's hands before I remember I would've liked to take a picture. But not today!

Yarn is Lorna's Laces Shepherd Worsted in Pond Blue. It is a superwash wool, 4.5 sts = 1"

Patterns are a hodgepodge. Socks are toe-up, short row heel "Just Your Basic Baby Sock" by Patti Pierce Stone on size 4 needles. Mitts are probably derived from "Super Quick Baby Mitts" but I threw in a cable and switched from size 4 to size 7 needles after the cuff was done. Hat is my approximation of a beautiful fingering weight hat with tons more stitches made for my baby by my grandmother with 2x2 ribbing followed by stockinette interspersed with seed stitch panels.

This set is for my cousin's baby, who arrived about six weeks early but is home now and doing fine.

Sheer cuteness, nothing hodgepodge-y about them. Glad the baby is o.k.

Nothing to compare them to but they look so tiny and cute. A really nice set for a new baby. Lovely yarn.
