I'm doing a simple two colored scarf. I had never thought before I discovered this site to simply weave in the ends of the string when I changed color or started a new skein. I would always just knot it. I'm just wondering, after you weave in the ends, do you need to tie a knot, or should it be be ok without one? Thanks!!! :mrgreen:

If you're weaving is secure, no need for knots. I've never used knots regardless of the type of join.
