I'm designing a man's zippered sweater and need some advice. The sweater will be a full zip, and I need help on the edges where the zipper will be attached. What type of edge should I make? Should it be turned under, as I want it to be very even. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

What I recently did on a sweater was to slip the first two stitches of each row and pull the yarn tight to knit the third stitch. It folded under the edge kind of like an icord and looks great. I haven't purchased the zipper yet, but I believe it will work out nicely.

Ingrid, this sounds so intriguing! I'd love to see a photo of the edge! Thanks for the tip!

Here is a good picture of the inside and a rather poor pic of the outside. If you want, I can try to do better on the outside shot.
