I'm not so much up for sweaters, but if anyone knows the number of stitches to cast on for a hat, scarf, slippers....My niece is getting her first American Girl Doll for Christmas.
Grandma is making the doll an entire wardrobe (so serious, the will be the best dressed doll in town) but thought maybe I could do a couple hat/scarf sets that would allow girl and doll to match.

I am also interested in knitting some doll clothes for my granddaughter's American Girl Dolls. Anyone out there have any patterns or suggestions where I might find some. Thanks for your help.

You can find some on Ravelry too.

By the way, I've been knitting hats for my granddaughter's American Girl dolls from the pattern Ingrid linked, and they are a great fit. Easy to make on size 10 needles too. I'm also making ponchos and sweaters.
