I just finished Calorimitry with some suri alpaca I had leftover from another project. I know my head is somewhat smaller than the "average" adult so I CO with size 7 needles. Still, the width (# of rows) makes it too big for my head - it looks funny on me. I have not cast off and am going to frog it, the question is in making smaller do I just decrease the number of rows or do I need to make adjustments elsewhere to maintain the shaping?

Calorimetry came out fairly large even for people who got the correct gauge. CO about 92, 96 or 100 sts and see it that's the right size. For the rows, only repeat R 5 12 or 13 times instead of 15, then start with R7 and finish.
