Are you talking about the kind of fingerless gloves with a mitten top that either folds back or that you can button to make an actual mitten with the gloves fingers inside? If so, Knitty has a pattern.

I really like the pattern and pictorial for Glittens (http://docs.google.com/View?docid=dhd26ktg_5r4nkxz) Click here (http://nuttinbutknittin.blogspot.com/2007/09/turning-mittens.html) for pictures.

:woot: Thanks guys! Those are great patterns. I think I'll go with the one from Magknits. Exactly what I'm looking for! My friend has a pair of these in a pretty blue fair isle pattern that I  Thanks again!

I'm in the process of making Urban Necessity (the one from Magknits). I have one done and I'm on the fingers for the second one.

Hey Jan, are they working out well? What yarn are you using? I'm wanting to make some for my boys. Will be yarn shopping tomorrow if I can get the truckout of the drive way. Good lord it's snoting here! (Calgary) and about to turn bitterly cold to...........-35C tomorrow, oh yea!

We're going to get a blast of that by Sunday too. Time to bundle up in all our knitted goodies and hibernate.
