I am looking for sock patterns and I just feel overwhelmed looking around. Can anyone help? I'm knitting a pair for my 16-year-old brother who wants something 'funky' and patterned. I think I should avoid cables for his sake. I am also knitting a pair for my step-father who is young at heart. I'm knitting them in LSU's colors and I want them to be cushy. Any ideas for good patterns to use? (I'm not concerned with the difficulty of said patterns.)
