hi,

I am looking for a knit pattern for a cross. I have look all over online&it seem like no one has ever knitted a cross before casue I could not find a single pattern all I got was cross stitching which was not what i was looking. I would like to be able to knit it in one piece. thank you for all your help.

Do you just want to knit a simple, small, traditional, flat cross?

Is this what you're looking for? It's double knit so if you don't want that see what I've written below.

I think there probably aren't too many patterns because it's so simple really. Just cast on as many as you want in width, knit till you need the cross piece and cast on as many as you want for one side, then knit across and cast on the same number. Knit till it's wide enough then knit to the end and bind off the same number you cast on, knit to the end and bind off the same number and continue for the top.

BTW..stockinette curls so I suggest using garter or seed stitch. Because it's so narrow it'll still have some issues with curling, but those should help.
